Terms and Conditions
We don't like small print. So we'll keep this nice and simple!
By registering on our system, you agree to the following:
- The information you provide (name, address, email and telephone number) are accurate and correct. We use this information to post physical products to you when you order them. We also need to keep accurate records of our students as required by the CAA since we are an official Declared Training Organisation [GBR.DTO.0357]
- Our intellectual property is defined as (but not limited to) our course content, resources, test and exam questions, answers and explanations, and underlying database structure and data, scripts and web pages (content and logic)
- You won't share your account, course access, or our intellectual property with anyone else
- You won't abuse our good will by registering multiple times in order to fraudulently gain access to free time-limited courses or facilities
- You won't save or download any part of our intellectual property for any purpose
- You won't use your personal access to our intellectual property to conduct courses to one or more people by any means (physically or virtually)
- You won't make our intellectual property publicly available via any means (verbal, written or electronic) without our written consent
- The information you provide to our system will be honest and accurate
We have security measures in place to detect all of the above conditions, but we're sure you realise the importance of a good working relationship between us to help you achieve your dream! Failure to abide by our terms and conditions will result in your account being locked while we chat to you about it.
Face to face courses:
- Once you purchase a one-to-one face to face course or RT Exam, we will be in touch and arrange a mutually convenient date and time for the course or exam. You must get the date booked with us within one month of the course/exam purchase, else the course/exam purchase becomes null and void, with no refunds available. We may not be able to offer a course date immediately, but will guarantee one within one calendar month of purchase. The vast majority of the time we can offer a course date within a week of purchase. If mutually convenient course dates cannot be agreed, no refunds will be available.
- Once you have confirmed your attendance on a date/time, and you then fail to attend, we will charge you a "No Show" fee of £66.00 (including VAT).
- If you wish to change the date/time of your course/exam, you must give at least 72 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in a fee of £66.00 (including VAT) becoming due in addition to the fee you have already paid.
- Changing the date/time of your already booked course/exam on at least two occasions will result in a fee of £66.00 (including VAT) becoming due in addition to the fee you have already paid, regardless of the amount of notice given to us when requesting the change. Each subsequent date change thereafter will result in a further £66.00 (including VAT) fee becoming due.
Refund Policy:
- If you buy a course and do not then make use of it in the time period, then we are unable to offer any form of refund or credit.
- If you mistakenly buy a course and let us know straight away, we will be happy to credit your ground school account and cancel that course so you can purchase the correct one. However, if you have already accessed the course material, then no refund will be possible.
- If you buy a Test and Exam only course access instead of a Full Course Access, then if you let us know straight away, we will be happy to credit your ground school account and cancel that course so you can purchase the correct one. However, if you have already accessed tests and exams, then no refund will be possible.
- If you buy a Full Course access, but only intended to buy the Test and Exam Only option, then if you let us know straight away, we will be happy to credit your ground school account and cancel that course so you can purchase the correct one. However, if you have already accessed the course material, then no refund will be possible.
- If you renew the wrong course and let us know straight away, we will be happy to credit your ground school account and cancel that course so you can purchase the correct one. However, if you have already accessed the course material since the renewal, then no refund will be possible.
- If you mistakenly buy multiple months for a course and let us know straight away, we will be happy to credit your account and reduce the duration of the course concerned.
- Account credits are automatically used from your account when making purchases from our system.
- In general, we do not extend courses for free.
- Our servers are managed and provided by a third party. In the event of system unavailability, we do not generally offer refunds since the up-time of the server is usually greater than 99.9%. We may offer extensions to course expiry dates across the board in the unlikely event of our servers being down for a considerable period (you'll find we are generous). We do consider individuals on a case by case basis however, since we realise you have studies and exams to complete!
The Rationale behind our Terms and Conditions:
We offer our courses at absolutely fantastic value for money. This includes full-colour graphical course material which is fully up-to-date at all times (when regulations or procedures change our courses are updated immediately), progress tests, end of course (mock) exams all with fantastic explanations, and timely, PERSONAL one-to-one instructor support when required by email, phone or zoom! Additionally, repeat purchases of courses attract a 10% discount on the initial course price.
